Join California State Parks’ North Coast Redwoods District as they discuss the importance of honoring the Indigenous people who have lived along the North Coast since time immemorial. Amplifying Indigenous voices in parks provides spaces for healing and education within the Native and wider communities. In this special Facebook Live presentation, State Park interpreters and Tribal members will highlight new Land Acknowledgement signs placed throughout North Coast parks to inform and provoke visitors to think about “whose land they’re on”.
