Godwit Days On-line Registration Is Now OPEN! After four years, the Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival will return to its usual large, in-person event at the Arcata Community Center on April 14 through 16 (field trips start Thursday, April 13). Over 70 events make up the schedule this year, including nearly 20 BRAND-NEW field trips, such as an outing to view California Condors and a day-long ocean (pelagic) trip on an 18-person vessel with three expert guides to help you spot offshore seabirds. There also are our old favorite “Classic” trips like Spotted Owls; “Gold” trips with smaller groups and lunch included; and even 14 free events!
