STAC’s Golden Age Radio Theatre is back for the Spring! From the group that brought you mesmerizing musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Young Frankenstein, Sister Act, and The Music Man, State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) presents Golden Age Radio Theatre: a collection of radio plays in a variety of genres performed by costumed actors, complete with sound effects.
April 24’s lineup is: A Stranger in the House (suspense): Richard Diamond, Detective: The Trixie Hart Case; The Birds (the original play written by Daphne De Maurier).
In the five years since their first production, STAC has become renowned for its talented casts, extraordinary costumes, and stellar productions. You WON’T want to miss it! So, why not get out of the house, enjoy the fresh spring air, and enjoy a show! Radio Shows are FREE, with donations gratefully accepted. Proceeds benefit Auburn State Theatre in support of the performing arts.
Performances will be presented at First Congregational Church (710 Auburn Ravine Rd) starting at 6:00 pm. Performances will be outdoors as weather permits, so dress for the weather, bring your own chairs, blankets, picnic, snacks/beverages and get comfy. The Church requests that audience pack out all items. In the event of rain, performances will be moved indoors with social distancing guidelines/restrictions enforced.
For up-to-date information, follow us on FB at “State Theatre Acting Company” or IG: @STACPlayers
