Shawn Kekoa Pimental (guitar, vocals) is a consummate musician and award-winning record producer. He has performed with some of Hawai‘i’s leading recording artists, offering his talents on guitar, drums, bass, and vocals for such artists as Kealii Reichel, Na Palapalai, Kaumakaiwa Kanakaole, Na Leo Pilimehana, Kainani Kahaunaele, Justin Young, Chad Takatsugi, Three Plus, Rebel Souljahz and many more. He is co-owner of Studio Ala Moana, a prime recording studio in Honolulu, and owner of the record label Koops2 Entertainment, which represents both premier artists and emerging independents from Hawai‘i, in styles ranging from traditional Hawaiian to contemporary to reggae.

Lehua Kalima grew up listening to traditional Hawaiian and Hapa-Haole (half Hawaiian/half English) music. And while her Hawaiian friends were learning to play the ‘ukulele, she was learning to play both the ‘ukulele and the piano under the influence of her Illinois-born mother. She has been performing for over 30 years, from the time she and 2 friends formed Na Leo Pilimehana in high school. They won an original song competition for “Local Boys”, which became a cult hit. Na Leo has gone on to win over 20 Na Hoku Awards, with Lehua winning an unprecedented 3 individual songwriter awards for Song of the Year. Her solo CD also took home an award for Contemporary Album. Lehua has learned Ōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) in order to compose songs in the language of her people. In 2015, Lehua was honored with a Native Arts & Cultures Foundation Fellowship Award. She continues to perform today with Na Leo and also with Shawn Pimental as a duo
Shawn and Lehua are releasing their debut album in August 2017, featuring original Hawaiian compositions written by Lehua, Shawn, and other Native Hawaiian composers; together they are creating the musical arrangements. The single tracks already released exhibit their signature lush harmonies and rich vocals; notes a fan: “Her ability to convey her feelings through musical poetry is amazing…a heart of gold and the vocal versatility to succeed in any market...”
