The Forest Hill Divide Museum nestles serenely among giant sugar pines in LeRoy Botts Memorial Park, a block off the main street of Foresthill. The museum's exhibits open a window to the history of an area that was the center of attention and the home of thousands of miners during the gold rush era. The complex includes the restored Forest Hill jail, a reconstructed livery stable and a blacksmith shop. The museum is open seasonally, from Memorial Day through Labor Day on Saturdays and Sundays, Noon to 4:00.
